And I don't want you to forget how we did it.

You made history every single day during this campaign -- every day you knocked on doors, made a donation, or talked to your family, friends, and neighbors about why you believe it's time for change.

I want to thank all of you who gave your time, talent, and passion to this campaign.

We have a lot of work to do to get our country back on track, and I'll be in touch soon about what comes next.

These leaders will keep the retail stores on the cutting edge with original products and and will keep consumers excited about making new fashion purchases. ray...showroom is that fashion leader."

The nations economy on a whole has been suffering through a major economic recession. The conceptual idea behind the New Fashion Democratic Party is ray...showroom's attempt to stimulate growth, more activity with sales, and public awareness. In order to accomplish these tasks, we require that the members of the New Fashion Democratic Party be not only order takers, but sales people with aggressive and unconventional marketing methods. These methods include the basic principles of gorilla marketing such as distribution of flyers, stickers and buttons to the public. The idea is for the average consumer to shop their favorite stores and inquire if ray...showrooms brands are sold at their shops.

As a member of the New Fashion Democratic Party, ray...showroom is dedicated to distributing marketing materials to the mass public and the top street, premium, surf & skate boutiques and venues or trade shows. Instead of working with big marketing budgets, ray...showroom takes on the "Gorilla Marketing" approach relying on time, energy and imagination. We also work diligently to make the products we sell visible by working closely with a variety of media (MTV, BET, FUSE) and press outlets (Vibe Magazine, Giant Magazine, DNR, and Yellow Rat Bastard). Additionally, a weekly Blog is targeted to all marketing and fashion editors, members of the press and stylist. This creates brand awareness for ray...showroom as well as for the brands we represent. We want to take it a step further by reaching the general public.

Our main promotional item will be a t-shirt that will be collaboration with Public Domain Clothing a brand that is currently represented in the showroom. The coloration will include to ray...showroom vote campaign along with the Public Domain logo to show a creative partnership. T-shirts will be distributed and promoted by the members of ray...showroom to the public, press, and any other function to get people aware of both ray...showroom and Public Domain.

Our work continues far after we clock out at the showroom. It carries over to the New York city's exclusive night life. ray...showroom strives to create this campaign in the hopes to become leaders rather than followers in the fashion industry.

Last Sunday ray...showroom joined with 45,000 other caring people to literally fill the streets of New York with compassion for those who are living with HIV/AIDS and to demonstrate our commitment in the fight against AIDS. Our group consisted of Sam Ben-Avraham (owner of the Atrium and the Project Trade Show) and The Brooklyn Interns lead by Sharifa Cudjoe. The Brooklyn Interns is a internship program for high school students that have aspirations of getting into the fashion industry. Public Domain donated t-shirt to the MVC Production "Kids Are People Too!" fashion show. The Show will be put on to raise awareness for sickle cell anemia and autism.
